Library Anytime is a self-operated solution that makes it possible to extend the library’s normal open hours. It is a complement to the existing manned hours, in which library users can still receive the necessary help and guidance. In short, it is a service that allows library users to gain access the library’s facilities when it suits them!

Underlying advanced management system

Technology controls, developed especially for the libraries, controls all components of Library Anytime system. The sophisticated management system enables the automatic opening and closing of the library and full admirative features.

Access control with communication options

Custom-designed entrance computer identifies and registers the users upon arrival at the library. The users enter their PIN on the computer’s touch-screen after inserting or scanning their identification in the card reader. The touch screen at the entrance can display the registered user-name, inform the user of open hours and programs, and inform the user about any reason for rejecting entry.

Monitoring for a safer library

Camera surveillance as a part of the solution. This provides safety for the users and protects the library against theft and vandalism during the self-operated opening hours. Our team will work with you on the location and placement of the cameras to suit your needs and specifications.

Gain full control with the management package

Using the Management Application you can easily manage Library Anytime. Through the system you can access and edit your Library data including the opening hours, surveillance images, event log and much more. The management application ensures you full control of Library Anytime and all events in the unmanned opening hours.

Statistics module and management features

The management package contains several features that provide overview and insight into the Library Anytime system, including a statistics module from which you can extract data concerning the number of visitors at the library based on age, gender and time interval, and a PC-module which will enable you to automatically manage the library’s computers, technology and many other useful features. The management features will continually be expanded as a part of our service.

With the P.V. Supa’s Anywhere Library you can provide 24/7 access to library materials and services at just a fraction of the cost of a new or remodeled building. The intuitive interface provides ease of use for your library customers, allowing them to check out, check in, place and pick up holds, pay fines and fees, download e-books and other digital resources, browse the catalog, and read magazines and newspapers on- line on the 32” infra-red touch screen. With a built in WIFI hotspot library patrons can access resources from their own devices as well.

The Anywhere Library is ideal for placement in community centers, shopping malls, hospitals, and transit hubs. The robust design withstands the elements, making it perfect for installation at your choice.

The Anywhere library extends the reach of the library into your community; wherever people gather the library can be there too. The 450-item capacity allows for creation of targeted collections, from popular materials to children’s collections; allowing you to tailor your collection to community needs.

The Anywhere Library is made of cold-rolled steel plate. The book shelf window glass is toughened 8mm glass and is protected by a built-in sun shield. All doors, the loading door, book bin, and bill acceptor door, feature electronic locks.

The Anywhere Library utilizes the Supa Extended Library series which includes a maintenance mode and communicates over the industry protocol SiP2/NCIP. This means that all lending traffic is fed back to your library management system.

Small Library for Self-Check In and Out

With the Small Library you now can offer an inexpensive independent library at an indoor location of your choice; your customers can have access to your books 24/7. With a combined Check Out and Check In function, all you need is a network cable and power outlet. The Small Library allows you to maintain or extend the library’s reach.

The stylish, transparent doors are equipped with an electronic lock that can easily be opened by presenting a patron card to a badge reader. The patron takes the books and just closes the door again. After closing the door, the Mini Library prints out a receipt which tells the patron exactly which books are checked Out and when those need to be returned. Returning a book is equally simple: present the card- open the door- return the book.

The Small Library provides an intuitive interface.   A patron presents a valid patron card to the card reader, the card is validated, and door is unlocked.  The card reader can support barcode, RFID, or Mifare-D. The Mini Library utilizes a real-time inventory of the RFID tags and items are Checked Out or In automatically. The patron simply closes the door and the receipt is printed after the transaction.

Communication to ILS/LMS via SIP2, self-check In and check Out is 24/7, offline operation is supported as well as local database for selected collection without SIP 2 connection.
